5 Tips to serve and reach less active and part member families – Seattle LDS Church | Examiner.com

Every month, the Ensign contains a message from the First Presidency. This particular message is studied and shared in the homes of the members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. This month, President Thomas S. Monson shares a message about the Savior’s call to serve. Our Priesthood duty in fulfilling our home teaching responsibilities is not to be taken lightly, nor is it to be taken with contempt. We should view our responsibility as Priesthood holders and home teachers in reaching families with the message of the Gospel, serving them in whatever capacity we are capable of, and bring the awareness of their needs to those in leadership of our Wards and Stake. Here are five tips the Marysville LDS Church Examiner would like to suggest in reaching those families that are less active and/or part member families.
